Heritage No. 01 — Ornithopter
Before the propeller. Before the fixed wing. Before the engine that would make either possible. There was a man with a notebook, watching birds, sketching the mechanism he thought would let him join them.
Leonardo's ornithopter never flew — the human body doesn't make enough power to flap wings that big — but the drawing did something almost as important. It said the problem was worth solving.
The Ornithopter tee reproduces da Vinci's original design study on the back: the bat-wing frame, the pilot harness, the mechanical linkages, margin notes and all. Front-chest carries the Cannibal Aviation mark in soft charcoal — quiet, deliberate, wearable anywhere.
Printed on Comfort Colors 1717 — 6.1 oz garment-dyed 100% ring-spun cotton. Unisex relaxed fit. Pre-shrunk. Vintage-soft on arrival, better every wash.
Where it belongs: Museum days. Design studios. Any conversation with somebody who thinks new ideas come out of nowhere.
