Twenty-one passengers, two Pratt & Whitneys, and a range that could get you across the country in a day. When Douglas rolled out the DC-3 in 1935, it didn't just win a market — it created one. Within three years, DC-3s were flying 90% of the world's airline traffic. Kitty Hawk to LaGuardia in thirty-two years flat.

Ninety years later, they're still flying. Basler Turbo Conversions in Wisconsin still ships new-build DC-3s with turbine engines. Buffalo Airways runs freight up the Mackenzie in weather that would ground anything younger.

The Golden Age of Flight tee prints the DC-3 above the great trunk routes it opened — New York, London, Cairo, Calcutta, Sydney, Rio — in warm rust ink on garment-dyed cotton.

Printed on Comfort Colors 1717 — 6.1 oz garment-dyed 100% ring-spun cotton. Unisex relaxed fit. Pre-shrunk.

Where it belongs: DC-3 rides at Oshkosh. Basler tours in Wisconsin. Any hangar where somebody still says "DC-3" without needing to explain it.
